Ahalani in the Navajo language means welcome and farewell, sunrise and sunset, beginning and end. It is the path of beauty in tune with the sun. For me, founding my own CD label means the freedom to publish my music the way I want it as a musician and ensemble leader. Selling CDs is a way for us musicians to reach more people than through concerts. Support the musicians whose music you love by buying CDs, not copying them. For this reason, my music is only available in streaming services when all physical CDs have been sold. ahalani records sees itself as a fair trade label and all musicians share in the profits according to a fair distribution key.
